A camera-free eyewear maker has two different answers to a simple question about its translation feature.
On September 30 the company put out a release describing “two-way translation across 53 languages.” Urdu, Tamil, Gujarati, Nepali, and Arabic arrived through firmware-side support, the release says.
Over on the product listing itself, checked on October 1, the translator is described twice as a 26-language tool: “Supports 26 languages translation” and “Real-time, 26 languages.”
MemoMind owns both numbers, they sat live at the same time, and nothing the company has published bridges the difference.
The announcement went out at 11:00 ET, introducing a set of features that run on the glasses themselves. The checkout page currently shows $399 in the US against a $599 list price.
The update carries two dates. The release is tied to September 30, and the iOS app hit version 1.3.80 at 23:42 UTC that day under Shenzhen Qinglai Innovation Intelligent Technology.
What landed, per the notes: recurring calendar events, to-do creation, and “two-way translation for more natural conversations.” The rest covers caption speed controls, image sharing in the daily recap, and recorder fixes for saving, playback, transcription, and summaries after an interrupted call.
For buyers, the figure that matters is the one the checkout page shows.
