Meta and EssilorLuxottica have named ten more countries for the Ray-Ban Meta and Meta Glasses lineup, led by an Asia-Pacific push.
The Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and New Zealand are on the list, joined by Poland, Portugal, Israel and South Africa. The companies said the rollout widens over the coming months without fixing dates or local pricing.
Three products are expected in the new markets. Buyers there have leaned on grey-market importers until now, so an official release brings warranty cover and post-sales support.
The software does not travel in full. Hearing Enhancement and Muse, the AI assistant, remain US-only, so overseas buyers get a thinner feature set than the one demonstrated at Connect.
The expansion carries a fashion hook too. Meta’s own line adds the Capri and Nova frames plus specialty models developed with LISA of BLACKPINK.
Counting every Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta frame together, the pair aim to have more than 100 styles and colorways on shelves before the year closes.
