CM Games has confirmed that Into the Radius 2 leaves early access on Quest 3 and Quest 3S on August 27, bringing the standalone version close to parity with its PC VR release.
The survival shooter first arrived on PC VR headsets in late 2024 and left Steam early access in April with a full campaign, new zones, anomalies, equipment, and four-player co-op built up over multiple updates. The Quest 1.0 launch will feature most of the content from the Steam 1.0 and 1.1 releases, the studio said last month.
That includes the complete campaign with a fully voiced narrative, environmental lore notes, and mysterious destructible figures spread across the zone. Night operations get a boost with night vision devices, flares, thick exploration fog, and new anomaly types, alongside fresh weapons such as the G3 rifle, MP5 SMG, GP-34 underbarrel launcher, and a range of hand grenades.
There is one catch for Quest players: co-op is capped at two players on the standalone headsets because of technical limitations, compared with four-player support on SteamVR.
Into the Radius 2 is listed on the Horizon Store for Quest 3 and Quest 3S at 30 percent off its $40 price, bringing it to $28 until the full launch. The August 27 update marks the biggest content jump yet for the Quest version, which has trailed the PC release since its early access debut.
