Supernatural was left to fade once its owner lost interest. Now the VR workout is back with the crew that built it, spun out as a company of its own, Supernatural Fitness. Meta used its Connect stage to date the return to October.
It is also lined up to ship alongside Meta’s VR Glasses on day one, when the 100-gram headset arrives in Spring 2027. According to the studio, the lighter build lets it push visuals well past what the older version could manage, with sweeping workout locales and trainers rendered close enough to feel present.
Fitness users also got a hardware aside from Angela Chang, Meta’s product management lead. In a YouTube conversation she said the headset will take clip-on blockers to shut out the room, plus a retention band around the back in the style of the elastic cords sport sunglasses use, keeping it anchored when someone is moving hard.
Members keep their history too. The studio says points, streaks and badges carry over from the retired app, a sticking point for its community. The workouts feel familiar, but arrive with sharper settings, new sessions and music, and the team plans rolling updates across the year.
