HyperVR Games has a release date for its next physics sandbox: Bad Inmate escapes onto Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 on October 15. A SteamVR version is confirmed but undated. The studio is best known for Shave & Stuff and Titans Clinic.

The prison escape sim drops players behind bars with one goal: break out. Escape tools range from ordinary household objects to stolen keys, and success means outwitting guards, crawling through passages, and improvising with whatever is in reach. It is a made-for-VR physics playground in the mold of the studio’s earlier slapstick simulators.

HyperVR arrives with a strong reputation: Titans Clinic, the dentist sim, holds a 4.8-star Meta Store rating from more than 16,000 reviews, while barbershop sim Shave & Stuff sits at 4.8 stars from over 14,000. Wishlisting is open now on Quest and PSVR 2 ahead of the October launch.
