App version 2.3.2 reached the App Store on October 2, but Even Realities built the release so that one install will not complete it. Both the G2 glasses and the R1 ring must each take fresh firmware before the update works as shipped.
In practice that is three separate updates where owners might expect one. The store listing gives no firmware version number for the glasses or the ring, so the app alone offers no way to check that a pair is running the current combination.
Even Realities spread the notable additions across familiar ground. QuickNote, a tool for writing and reading notes on the G2, arrives alongside customizable long-press shortcuts shared by the G2 and the R1. Plug-ins also get more room: the Discovery page inside Even Hub now surfaces a wider catalog of them.
Two further changes reach day-to-day use. Reminders is the new name for QuickList, so a standby feature has been relabeled without altering what it does. Separately, the company reports refreshed map service providers across unnamed regions, a change it ties to improving Navigate; neither the regions nor the specific providers were disclosed.
A stability fix for background connections on some phone models closes out the notes, with no device named. Even Realities sells the R1 as a stand-alone $249 smart ring, and its own product page states that the ring interacts only with the G2.
